Best Practices of Senior Sales WonderWomen at Leading Tech Companies

Welcome to The Lirone Glikman Show!
This show focuses on the Human Factor in marketing and business development

in a hybrid world.

For this Women‘s Month of March, I brought two special guests:
Amy Margolies – Head of Branded Content Sales at #YouTube,
Shari Weinbach – Large Enterprise Sales Executive at #Slack

Both have nurtured fascinating careers working for world-class companies as YouTube, Slack, Google, Linkedin, Walt Disney, to name a few.

We discussed work and personal life, selling to US companies, and how to go about doing so, up to how to party hard and work hard, manage family and overcome life’s challenges.
I learned so much from them and their life experience, from selling to nurturing relationships inside their organizations to feeding their souls.

Some of the questions Amy Margolies & Shari Weinbach answered were:

  • Is it just a myth that it’s easier to sell when you are the “Slacks” or “YouTubes” of the world?
  • How do you build a bond or credibility with a prospect and facilitate the sale?
  • How can you begin selling from scratch?
  • How do you manage relationships within your organization to get the support you need?
  • what was one thing you learned that helped you manage teams better?
  • How do you balance work and life?
  • and more…

In addition, Amy shared her personal story and cancer struggle, which she thankfully overcame!! From that experience, she was able to shift the way she balances her life and work.
